NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PERMITS UNDER SECTION 57 LAND USE PLANNING AND APPROVALS ACT 1993

The following planning applications have been lodged with the Latrobe Council for the purpose of obtaining a discretionary planning permit.

You have until the notification expiry date to lodge a representation with the council.  Your representation must be in writing and sent to PO Box 63, Latrobe, Tasmania, 7307 or to council@latrobe.tas.gov.au

CURRENT PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENTS

NOTICE OF PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT UNDER SECTION 38 OF THE (FORMER PROVISIONS) LAND USE PLANNING AND APPROVALS ACT 1993

At its meeting held on 20 January 2020, Council resolved to initiate and certify Amendment 01/20 to the Latrobe Interim Planning Scheme 2013 and place it on public exhibition for a period of 28 days. Amendment 01/20 seeks to:

  • Rezone land contained in Certificates of Title 118340/1, 25827/3 & 25827/4 located at 20 Torquay Road, Latrobe from General Residential to Community Purpose; and
  • Amend the Latrobe Plan in regard to the proposed zoning.

Draft Development Permit 218/2019 proposes consent, subject to conditions, to the upgrade and extension of an existing car park on land contained in Certificates of Title 118340/1, 25827/3 & 25827/4 located at 20 Torquay Road, Latrobe.
