Each year community groups in Latrobe organise and run many different events for locals and the wider community to enjoy. Some events draw thousands of people to visit Latrobe, whilst others are smaller celebrations in local towns. The common theme with all events is the need to plan.
Latrobe Council has developed an event management guide for events run in the Latrobe municipality. The document aims to be a comprehensive guide to assist event managers and organisations effectively plan an event, considering all the necessary areas that are involved in staging an event.
