Ordinary Council Meeting - Monday 13 May, 2024

An Ordinary meeting of the Latrobe Council will be held at the Council Chambers, Latrobe on Monday 13 May, 2024 commencing at 5.00pm.

The agenda will be available for perusal on Latrobe Council’s website prior to the meeting.

Public Attendance at Council Meetings

Council meetings are currently open to public attendance, however attendance limits may still be considered due to Council’s Workplace Health & Safety obligations. It is recommended that members of the public wishing to attend a Council meeting RSVP prior to each meeting by calling Council on 6426 4444.

Council Minutes

The Local Government Act 1993 (Schedule 4 Paragraph 13) requires a Council's General Manager to record the minutes for every Council meeting.

The Act (Schedule 4 Paragraph 13 Sub-paragraph (2)) allows the General Manager to only record in the minutes that a matter was discussed in "closed" session and to not record details of the matter unless Council determines otherwise.

As soon as practicable but at least at the next ordinary meeting, minutes are to be circulated to all councillors and are to be confirmed as a true record at the next ordinary meeting by motion of a council or council committee.
