Latrobe Council’s 2024-25 Community Grants are open for application to eligible organisations.
There are two rounds of funding offered each year for Latrobe Council’s Community Development Grants.
Round 1 opens in March, closes May for projects commencing from 1 July, and acquittal no later than 30 June the following year.
Round 2 opens in August, closes September for projects commencing from 1 October, and acquittal no later than 30 June the following year.
There are two opportunities for funding -
- Emerging Needs Grants are designed to encourage community partnerships that address an unmet need within the Latrobe Municipality in the fields of minor capital works, health and community welfare, environment as well as sport and recreation.
- Arts, Culture and Festival Sponsorship nurtures new or established events and major festivals that build our cultural identity, support accessibility and deliver a diverse range of community arts and cultural activities within the Latrobe Municipality with a focus on achieving self-sustainability.
Application must be via the application form.
Projects commencing prior to approval are ineligible for funding.
