Latrobe Flood Levees Project
This project will see the construction of levees around Latrobe’s south‐western and southern perimeter as well as a flood gate structure (lower Kings Creek) and a peak‐flow flood diverter on Kings Creek at Kings Park.
Hawley Esplanade Pathway
Council is considering constructing a 2.5m wide concrete exposed aggregate path along the foreshore on the Eastern side of Hawley Esplanade.
Port Sorell Area Drainage
Council is looking to determine what action can be undertaken to mitigate against future events of water entering several properties and habitable rooms in the Port Sorell area.
Camp Banksia Redevelopment
Significant progress has been occurring at Camp Banksia. The redevelopment will see Camp Banksia offline for around 12 months and barricaded accordingly.
Cradle Coast NRM – Rice Grass Control Program
The project is improving the condition and long-term protection of coastal saltmarsh and vast areas of wader bird feeding habitat.
Entrance to Port Sorell
Significant works to be undertaken to the entrance to Port Sorell at the intersection of Port Sorell Main Road, Alexander Street, Wilmot Street and Parkers Ford Road.
