Oppenheims Road Intersection Safety Improvement Project
Oppenheims Road intersection safety improvement project is scheduled to commence on Monday, 13 July 2026.
To allow the works to be completed safely and efficiently, Oppenheims Road will be fully closed between Valley Field Road and Hermitage Lane from Monday, 13 July 2026 to Friday, 14 August 2026, weather permitting.
Local access will be maintained where practicable, subject to traffic control arrangements.
Traffic management and detour arrangements will be in place during the closure. Road users are requested to follow all traffic controls, signage and directions from traffic controllers, allow extra travel time, and take care when travelling near the work area.
Percival Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project
Minor kerb repair works on Percival Street between Last Street and East Forth Street are scheduled to commence on Monday, 6 July 2026. Pavement rehabilitation works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 13 July 2026, with an estimated completion date of Friday, 7 August 2026, weather permitting.
During the pavement works, a single lane will remain open to traffic. Local access will be available, subject to traffic control arrangements. Traffic management will be in place to guide road users safely through the work area.
