Our organisational structure consists of five departments. Each department is led by a manager who reports directly to the General Manager. Managers are supported by a structure of team leaders.
These departments are:
- Office of the General Manager – is responsible for governance, human resources and strategic planning.
- Development and Regulatory Services – is focused on the delivery of development assessments, building control, plumbing, environmental health, compliance of by-laws and statutory nuisances, animal control and public health.
- Corporate and Business Services- deliver services internally to our organisation, including Finance, IT, Records Management, Customer and administration Support across Council, Community and Economic Development, including tourism and health and safety.
- Infrastructure and Assets - is focused on the planning, maintenance, renewal and upgrade of the Council's infrastructure and assets. This includes infrastructure and engineering, project design and delivery, building assets and investigations, working in conjunction with the Operations department.
- Operations – consists of three departments; Town Services who look after waste management, building & facilities maintenance and capital works projects, Civil Construction & Maintenance who look after roads, footpaths and drainage and Green Spaces who are responsible for the maintenance of parks, sporting ovals and gardens.
