Latrobe Council Welcomes New Australian Citizens
Today, Latrobe Council proudly welcomed 11 new Australian Citizens at a special Citizenship Ceremony conducted by Acting Mayor Vonette Mead at the Hamilton Hub.
Our newest citizens come from a wonderful mix of countries, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Pakistan, Taiwan, Scotland, and Nepal each bringing their own rich culture, experiences, and stories to our community.
Citizenship ceremonies are always a highlight for Council, celebrating not only the diversity that strengthens our region but also the shared values that unite us all as Australians.
We extend our warmest congratulations to our newest citizens and wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter in our beautiful Latrobe municipality. 💛💚
