Evidence Required The person making the application is an eligible person for purposes of the Building Act 2016:
Owner - either a copy of the current Rates Notice or current Certificate of Title (available from Service Tas or thelist.tas.gov.au )
Building surveyor, building services provider, plumber or another licensed practitioner who has been engaged by the owner of the premises – a copy of the letter of agreement
Buyer with a contract to purchase – a copy of the relevant contract
Current holder of the equity of redemption in a mortgage – a copy of the current mortgage
Life tenant – a copy of the life tenancy agreement
Lessee of the premises for not less than 99 years - a copy of the lease
