Sophie’s enchanting vocals and Ade's masterful piano bring a touch of Northwest Tasmanian magic to the global stage of jazz, taking you on a journey where every melody tells a soulful story.
Join us for an afternoon of toe-tapping tunes and soulful improvisation as Sophie and Ada pay a tribute to the timeless classics in their own unique style. From luscious ballads to up-tempo bops, they’ll make you groove along.
Sophie and Ada have been performing together since the latter called Latrobe home in 2021. They’ve regularly played at Devonport Jazz Festival as well as other events over the state. In addition to that, Sophie currently co-organises Live @ The Wharf in Ulverstone and plays with a number of outfits in Tasmania, and Ada regularly tours with his interstate groups while composing and recording original works.
