Overnight parking is available for large, fully self-contained motor homes. There is no tent based camping or camping in cars allowed at this location under any circumstance.

The definition of self-contained is that campers must carry their own water supply, contain internal washing and toilet facilities, and has an onboard wastewater storage tank (no discharge on the ground).  Penalty for non-compliance - $600.

Permits are required and are issued on site by a registered officer who will visit you once you have parked.

Camp Banksia

Bunk-style group accommodation. A 156-bed accommodation/camp and recreation centre for schools, community, sport, church, business and family groups. The camp is nestled into a six hectare bush setting and adjacent to the beach, cycleway, nature reserve and golf course.

Dining: a large sunny main hall and dining room is the centre of the camp, with views over the lawns to the pond which is home to many native animals. All areas have wheelchair access. At Camp Banksia we recognise the importance of providing plentiful, delicious and well balanced meals.
