Where does it really get recycled?

Safe Battery Disposal

Batteries should never be put in general waste or recycling bins. Batteries should be taped and disposed of using a dedicated battery disposal method such as B-Cycle. Batteries may be disposed of at the Council Office, 170 Gilbert Street, Latrobe. Further information is available in the Battery Safety Awareness Brochure.

Recycling Drop Off Points

Recyclables may also be deposited free of charge at designated locations at the waste transfer stations at Hawk Hill Road, Port Sorell and Bay Drive, Spreyton.
