The postal ballot papers are currently zooming their way to you via Australia Post.

Since the last election, Australia Post have changed their delivery processes and it now takes a few days longer to receive mail but you should receive your ballot papers this week.

Recognising this delay, the Tasmanian Electoral Commission has extended the voting period from two to three weeks. Consequently, all completed votes must reach the Tasmanian Electoral Commission no later than 10am on 30 October so they count. If you post them that day or within a timeframe that they don't receive them by that time, your vote will not be counted so don't delay completing your vote and returning it to the TEC to make it count.
