Council plan, develop and facilitate a variety of programs and activities for all residents of the Latrobe municipality of which youth are naturally included but not necessarily segregated.  This action ensures that the strategies and ideas of Council's 2008 Youth Policy are achieved.

Planning for the School Holidays

Shamrock Vacation Care in Latrobe offers a wide variety of activities to keep primary school aged children active during the school holidays.  For full details, go to 2017 April Shamrock Vacation Care Program(415 kb)

Parks and Wildlife Service operate a Summer Ranger Program from late December through to end of January each year at National Parks throughout Tasmania.  These free activities are open to all ages and engage you with your surrounding environment.  For full details, go to www.parks.tas.gov.au
