Youth Services

Council plan, develop and facilitate a variety of programs and activities for all residents of the Latrobe municipality of which youth are naturally included but not necessarily segregated.  This action ensures that the strategies and ideas of Council's 2008 Youth Policy are achieved.

Latrobe Council does however facilitate a collaborative school holiday program (with the exception of the summer period) in conjunction with the Kentish Council with whom Latrobe Council has a resource sharing arrangement and local providers throughout these municipalities.  The ethos of such partnerships is to encourage partner providers to host “come and try” experiences and potentially enhance their long term sustainability through membership growth by younger persons.
