Marana Drive Fuel Reduction Burn

Weather permitting, the Tasmania Fire Service will be conducting a fuel reduction burn on Thursday 1st December at Marana Drive, Bakers Beach, as part of the state-wide Fuel Reduction Program which is aimed at reducing the bushfire risk to help protect lives and communities

POLICE BLITZ SPEEDING OFFENDERS ON RAILTON ROAD

Tasmania Police continue to pay attention to motorists exceeding the 40km/hr speed limit along Railton Road between Mersey Main Road and Caroline Creek with 28 speeding infringements issued from 1-13 September. The majority of these were to motorists driving 30-37kms above the designated speed limit.
